The SecurityNewbs Scholarship program was established in the summer of 2022 to help break through the barriers to entry within the cyber security industry.
After reviewing hundreds of entries and making some very difficult decisions, SecurityNewbs is excited to announce the five (5) winners of vouchers for CompTIA Security+ Certification. We wish each of them luck, and look forward to watching them ace the certification!

Our community has a decided strategy to enhance equity in the domain of cyber security, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and bringing in both experts and newcomers from underrepresented groups.

Security Pros
Our global network of security pros has deep expertise in most areas of cyber security, including network and infrastructure security (cloud and on-prem), OS security (Windows, Linux), cloud security (Identify Access Management/IAM, etc.), Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) security, product/application security, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), Cyber Security Incidence Response Team (CSIRT) / Product Security Incidence Response Team (PSIRT), red teaming, security automation, insider threat, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) (various topics).

Our network of recruiters are there to connect the community to relevant jobs (focused on entry-level positions) and answer related questions.
